Also, I'm overly dramatic, and probably shouldn't be giving other people advice on living life.

I'm right, though.

I remember leaving college for other reasons than graduating. I didn't say goodbye to anyone except for maybe 2 or 3 people. Then I got home and felt horrible and called everyone nearly in tears because I knew I'd never see them again. This turned out not to be true. I saw about 4 of them again, but it was only a happy reunion with one of them. Very awkward with the others. Point being, have the hearty good time farewells while you can. Sometimes nothing feels better than acting against your own nature.

Mahogany is important.

School. Eh, honestly you seem like a last-minute worker like most students and myself so you should panic, as it may compel you to do the work as the deadlines loom not quite as close as the night before.

Goodbyes? Eh, I might be in a unique situation since I live near campus and had intended to go to grad school at the same place, but I didn't consider it that big of a deal. College is no different from High School: If you want to keep in touch with people you make the effort and hope they do too. Otherwise meh.

repeat after me: everything turns out okay in the end. if it's not okay, it's not the end.

(repeat, repeat, repeat.)

having graduated in a crisis time i suggest: open up. spill your heart. let what's over be over. let what's not continue. and for godsake forgive yourself endlessly.

also, not again with the glutton for academic punishment, y'hear? you're too awesome to be lost to self-inflicted doom. that said, no matter what i'm here for ranting at/writing to/anything, anytime.

oh. and you write awesomefully. : D
