The three Black Sisters
The three sisters Bellatrix, Andromeda and Narcissa were born into one of the most ancient, reputable and pure wizarding families; the Blacks, as the daughters of Cygnus and Druella Black. The were raised with much strictness and (probably) a lack of love; always being told about the importance of things such as blood purity and honour. Being forced to marry men of only the purest blood and to make sure not to put shame on the family, all Blacks have to carry a burden that's put on them from the day of their birth. They need to be perfect. Even though being children of the same parents, the three girls could not be more different; one chose to become a warrior for the evil, one followed her heart and the third, the youngest, decided to accept the responsibility of representing the House of Black like it was expected, willing to sacrifice everything for her family.
Bellatrix: The eldest. She chose to fight for what her family and she believed in, chose to fight for the evil. After the First Wizarding War, she was imprisoned to Azkaban, the Wizarding Prison, due to numerous crimes but escaped over a decade later, continuing to fight for Lord Voldemort until the very end. It looked like she had lost her mind in Azkaban, the prison had definitely taken its toll on her. She murdered her younger sister's daughter and later got killed shortly before Voldemort's fall.
Andromeda: The middle sister who decided to run away follow her heart. She married someone her family considered inappropriate due to his blood status and was therefore disowned. She gave birth to a daughter, Nymphadora, who later decided to become an Auror and, while never fighting herself, chose to support the Order of the Phoenix, the Order fighting against Lord Voldemort. In the end, she lost everything she loved; her husband, her daughter, her son-in-law who all fell in the war. Nymphadora had given birth to a son only a couple months before whom Andromeda decided to raise like her own son.
Narcissa: The youngest. While, like her eldest sister and parents, convinced about the importance of blood purity, she never chose to fight like Bellatrix or her husband. Still, she broke off contact to Andromeda, too. Never being a Death Eater, a warrior for Voldemort, herself, she attended all of his meetings and had to watch her family, her family she devoted all her life to, fall apart. To protect her son Draco she chose to risk her own life, lying to Lord Voldemort, and also averted her husband and son from being imprisoned to Azkaban. Her future after the war is unknown; whether her and Andromeda reconciled lies in the stars.
