Needless to say, I am ridiculously excited. Seven days in the middle of nowhere, with a backpack and some dehydrated food? Awesome.

I will also be the only one of the female persuasion in the group. I shall have to be tough.

I don't know what makes you more insane--going out into the wilderness (no indoor plumbing!) or pinch hitting--but I think it's the second that's the definition of insanity...
