i´m now fascinated with Tibet, as i have recently watched Scorsese´s Kundun :-)) Have you seen it? It´s a film about the Dalai Lama´s life.

One of my good friends is going to Syria in the fall and trying to teach himself Arabic (and teaching me bits and pieces in the process), so it's creating a new fascination with Arabic cultures... If I watch a documentary on it, I don't think I can be held responsible for my actions.

It´s a very good film, with no stars, but asian actors (if they are really actors). you see the nature, the ceremonies of tibetan budhism, it is so real:-))) full of colours, i recommend it.
