Yeah, I thought I became a bit ridiculous to be quite frank. There is so many ways they could have done the epi, and that is how they choose to do it? *sighs*
Why they chose to do an episode on Bobby is what I'd like to know. I don't watch the show for him haha, I didn't cry, I was just wondering when the nightmare would end
Re: your recap on WordPress: I think he meant adopted in a figurative sense. But yeah, I was also bored during a lot of this epp, and didn't like how his coma death experience was so different from Dean's, talk about lack of inner continuity....:s But whatever, Bobby is gone now anyway, he got his sendoff.
And I do think Jensen has given a few Emmy-worthy perfomances, tbh (especially looking at the people they do nominate)--I mean, look at his dual performance playing off of himself with nuanced differences between his two selves in "The End", for instance. But they do need to give him fresh material, a non-viewer watching this epp with us thought he wasn't a good actor based on this epp...
Yeah, I know, it just really annoyed me. I think some others said it better. This show is trying to rewrite history and act like John was some non-existent father while Bobby was always there. That scene with him playing baseball with Dean? Really? I was unconvinced.

That's all this show ever does. And again the daddy issues really pissed me off. Hopefully he's gone for good. With this show you never know.

I do too! I'd say though, I'd have given him one based on season 2. In "The End" I liked the dual acting but the tone of his voice was really irritating, he was shouting his lines is some gravelly Batman voice and it felt like he was channelling Castiel a bit and I wasn't feeling it. My point was that nothing he's done in the last three years is worthy of an Emmy and I'm tired of hearing about it.

Eh, this show is pretty good with continuity compared to a lot of other ones, lol, you better never go anywhere NEAR Merlin! :p ;) IDK, they definitely rag on John more on later seasons, but they began implying he was absent in s1 with the flashbacks, tbh, when he's always off hunting and leaving the boys alone...*shrug*

It's really hard to act off of nothing, supposedly, and to have to remember twice as many lines, and the way he managed to distinguish the characters even though they looked
