I've been spending all my free time here at the hospital with my mom through this whole surgery process. At least now she is more alert, and moving around even though a bit troubled. Rehab for her leg started on Saturday and today my aunt and I made it here in enough time to sit with her during her session. The therapist says she's doing really

Hope your mom continues to get better. It sucks she has to get it amputated, but it makes things better.

I hope to see you soon darling! Any ideas for restaurant spots for our GEM get together? As of right now, it's only me and you attending. I'm strangely fine with that. lol!

Oh dear... I do hope your mother is doing better! My mother had half of her foot amputated less then a year ago.
People recover, so don't worry! I'm sure your mom will do her best! The most important thing is not to loose confidence and continue looking forward to recovery!
