It's a yaoi manga by the most popular yaoi artist out there :'D It has crime, mafia [japanese], violence, and a heart breaking story with a healthy dose of humor XD I effing love it haha - it's a serious story but it doesn't have too much drama and although it's drawn/written by a woman it isn't too romantic y'know, it has the action and the slowly developing feelings for each other and just... *_____*

Yeah, pretty much in my top 3 favourite yaoi mangas (#1 too, and #2 is another manga of hers as well XD) I know you're not much into slash so I wont rec it to you haha XD
