Wanting to speak to Sungmin once again Hyukjae decides to check on him without his boyfriend. Something inside of him is constantly bugging him about Sungmin. He's not sure what it is, something just feels insanely off.
When Hyukjae finds his friend he sees him picking on his food. Sungmin usually reacts that way when he is caught up in his thoughts and when he can't get something off of his mind no matter how hard he tries. Although they shared almost no classes with each other they became great friends. Hyukjae always claimed they just clicked somehow and that he was happy to have Sungmin not only as a roommate but as a dear friend by now.
What's on your mind? Hyukjae says, slipping onto the seat next to Sungmin who gets startled and lets his fork fall. Stop scaring me! the other says while bending down to pick up the fallen tool. Hyukjae observes him until his friend is sitting again, taking a bite of his food. I know this thing with my brother must be overwhelming for you, I didn't plan for this to happen. Hyukjae explains while trying to read his friend's facial expression. For some reason Sungmin's nonchalant I don't mind makes him feel so much more uncomfortable about Donghae staying in their room. Hyukjae figures it's best to leave Sungmin alone so he goes back into their room to talk to Donghae once more.
Back already? Donghae asks, fooling around with his phone. Hyukjae closes the door behind him and sits down on the bed, grabbing the phone out of Donghae's hands. Hey! the other says while trying to get it back. You have a nude photo of me on your phone?! Hyukjae screams and tries to delete it. Unfortunately, Donghae is fast enough to get it back and to safe the most precious, so he thinks, photo on his phone. Do you have more of those things flying around Hyukjae asks in horror while Donghae is stuffing the item back into his pocket, making sure to lock the keys beforehand. Hyukjae slaps his boyfriend's arm, demanding an answer from him. Maybe Donghae says with a smug grin. The other opens his mouth to say something but closes it again when Donghae's grin grows wider. He should be glad he is his boyfriend otherwise he would have punched that grin out of his face long ago.
Donghae-ya~ Hyukjae says in the most adorable and girly way making the other cringe and snuggle closer to the wall. Donghae-ya~ the other repeats, his voice now closer than before. Donghae pretends to have fallen asleep since that seems to be the best thing he could come up with to avoid creepy Hyukjae. However, Hyukjae isn't the type of person to easily give up, besides he knows his brother the best. He slips his hands between Donghae's leg and pinches his thigh hearing his boyfriend cry out in pain. Be glad that I didn't pinch your balls! he says and turns his boyfriend around I thought you are going to buy me a new phone he continues, not minding the horror-struck expression of the other. Wait, what? Donghae says and Hyukjae repeats what he said once again. You're telling me you had your hand between my legs because of a phone?! the younger says with a hurt expression. Hyukjae only huffs. His boyfriend was such a big pervert. Why did he even try to deal with him?
Donghae for once is glad to see Sungmin back in 'their' room because he's sure Hyukjae would have been the biggest bitch if they were left alone just a little longer. Since he was the type of person to say what was on his mind he usually ended up offending his lover. You might want to check if it's even allowed to have people stay over for longer than two days Sungmin says reaching out for his clothes which were tugged into the wardrobe next to his bed. I was planning to do that Hyukjae says. The letter is well aware that there was no way Donghae could stay for about a month, he would need to pay since he would most likely eat in the cafeteria too and that meant more costs for the school they would need to cover. Good then. I'm going to shower are you coming with me? Sungmin replies, his head still buried somewhere in the depths of the wardrobe. Sure Hyukjae answers without further ado. He is about to stand up when he feels somebody reach out for him. Sure? Donghae asks what is that supposed to mean? Sure Donghae mocks there is no way you are showering with that guy. Sungmin heads to the bathroom already, hoping that he hasn't caused any big problems.
Hyukjae settles down on the bed again, not wanting to enrage Donghae. He never saw a problem in showering with Sungmin. They were friends, he had no feelings for him, there never was an incident which would have proven the idea of showering together wrong. But Donghae is his boyfriend and for once he actually thinks about what he would feel if Donghae showered with one of his other friends. He knows he would go insane, he knows he would probably never talk to Donghae again, he knows it would feel as if your partner was betraying you. How long has this been going on? the guy behind him asks. For a reason Hyukjae can't make out why Donghae went silent. It almost never happens that Donghae's mood suddenly changes and whenever it does, no matter how rare it is, it is scary and it's unpredictable and Hyukjae can't figure out why it's happening or what is going on in Donghae's mind. Whereas Hyukjae is almost as readable as a book Donghae is the hardest puzzle to solve. There is nothing going on Hae, we just end up showering together to save time and money Hyukjae explains a little unsure of what the other will think about it or how he will react. Why would you need to think about saving money Hyukjae? We have enough money. Donghae says and although he tries to cover the anger in his voice it still goes through to Hyukjae.

Hyukjae feels the fatigue creep through his body and he wants nothing more besides lying down in his comfortable bed at home when things were still going fine and when he didn't need to deal with problems like these. He feels regret washing over him when he turns around and sees only Donghae's hair poking out of the blanket, his back turned towards him. Somehow realization only hits him now and he notices how wrong the past months have been, how awfully wrong it was to kiss and sleep with his brother.
The sudden urge to run away and to never come back overcomes him. He wants to get away from these things, doesn't want to be involved with them anymore, wants to leave them behind and never look back. Does he truly love Donghae? Is he ready to give up almost everything for him? He doesn't know anymore. He thinks he loves his brother but at the same time it just feels like he trusts him and relies on him because life has been difficult. Hyukjae heads out. He needs time to rethink his life and he needs to sort out if Donghae can even stay in their room.
He knocks on the door of the secretary, a beautiful young woman with brown wavy hair, not really tall but the heels always made up for it. She greets him with a smile and asks him to sit down and Hyukjae does after closing the door as quietly as possible. How can I help you? she says, her attention now fully on Hyukjae after tugging some folders away. My brother has some difficulties at home and asked if he could stay here for a while but I'm not sure if that is even possible Hyukjae explains and the secretary's smile slightly fades. I'm sorry but that's not possible she says, guilt washing over her voice since we have strict rules and we have to make sure that you guys concentrate on school there is no possibility for him to stay she explains further. Although Hyukjae has expected something like this he still feels disappointed. He doesn't want Donghae to stay at his utterly stupid friends so he asks her if they can work out something, even if it's just for another day. He promises her his grades won't drop and that Donghae won't cause any difficulties and she gives in. One week she says that's all I can do for you guys and Hyukjae wants to shower her in kisses and love and all he can think of because he doesn't need to worry about Donghae's whereabouts for the meanwhile.
The following day Hyukjae wakes up with no Donghae next to him but a new phone on his table. He's glad to find Donghae's number saved in his contacts because he really sucked in memorizing numbers if he had to be honest. Hyukjae hadn't had the chance to tell Donghae about the good news and his heart almost drops when he reads Donghae's note in which his lover explained that he would find somewhere to stay and that he shouldn't worry. He also wrote that he saved his number but that he needed some distance and that he would call if he was in the mood to talk again. 'I love you' Hyukjae reads and realizes how easily Donghae can say those three words and how uncertain he is about his own feelings. He only knows he misses him already.
