We're not entirely sure what it was that finally broke his hunger strike-- in the past month, we took him off chemo (which doesn't generally make him nauseated, but seemed like a good idea), started a stomach-coating med 30 mins before mealtimes, put him on (and then weaned him off) an anti-nausea med, and

Glad to hear about Nox! Did the vet rule out fall allergies that could give him post-nasal drip and decrease his appetite? And why do cats have to be so mysterious?

It might be allergies, but tbh he's not exhibiting any other allergy symptoms.

He's back to diarrhea. Going back on the anti-diarrhea meds today.

He felt like he had a fever last night-- my guess is that IBD/colitis is flaring up and his body is trying to fight it off.

I've had pretty good results with Punky Colors, personally, though not quite as long-lasting as SFX. Using a heat wrap will definitely help. Also, check out Sparks hair color. They don't have many shades to choose from, but it is pretty close in terms of longevity to SFX.

Hugs re: Nox.... What color is your normal dye? I have a motley assortment here and may have some of it I can pass along to you.

I use Virgin Rose. But in a way, this could be good-- hopefully the purple ombre works out!

I have some atomic pink if you want that! But no Virgin Rose. Purple is pretty awesome. Also check out Pravana and Joico- both do long lasting brights. RAW is another good brand.
