If you're someone who has good tips on this sort of thing, I'd love to hear them. I ( Read more... )

About an hour ago, my coworker complimented my earrings, so I write down your site for her! But, yes, broader marketing is still a good thing, and one I don't know too much about.

The thing about getting older is we have all our selves, at every age, inside us. (Hopefully they get along and no one hogs the toilet/mirror too much.) So I clearly am my high school self, and my 63 year old self, and in between. I find most people seem to have an age that feels like the "real" them. For me it's 35. My 18 years younger husband, otoh, has always been "older" (maturity wise) than I.

btw, I was wearing your butterfly earrings a few weeks ago, and a OOAK artisan shop's owner asked me about them. I gave him all your contact info. Hope he did!

That really sucks about the ID. (It took me a second to realize you are looking for something other than a drivers license or passport.)

Interestingly, you don't actually need a photo Id to fly domestically although it does get you far more security interaction. Admittedly my experience with this is "oh shit my drivers license is in yesterday's pants" and "sorry, but I have none" might be interpreted as much more of a deliberate challenge, but if you have anything photo and name-y and some extra time, I would wager that would work at last resort.

I get comments and queries every time I wear your earrings.
