Agreed on US of Tara. I'm curious which episode you deemed to be the notable exception. If I was to pick one I would probably go with "Torando."

That was what I was thinking.

I think something happened to Charmaine in the basement of a neighbor's house. In that flashback, Charmaine was the one wearing the poncho-- I think Tara saw it, and her freaking out about it formed the basis of Gimme.

Also, I think they've been giving us clues, too. Something about the Bicentennial & fireworks... I'd bet the incident happened in 1976.
