I'm at least a season or so behind on everything so, while I probably won't be actively watching anything this season, I will be following various fandoms & spoiling myself silly. (We don't have tv right now as it is, so that makes me feel a little less guilty for being a bad fan. :P)
Using
Ausiello's cheat sheet as a guide, I organised my

since my favorites were cancelled :(
Preach it. D: What shows were especially heartbreaking for you? For me, the list is many: Reaper, Eli Stone, The Sarah Connor Chronicles, etc etc.
That's another reason I'm not terribly interested in watching anything this season; I am so tired of getting invested in a show only to see it cancelled in its prime.

You can tell how much I've been paying attention-- 90210 aired last season?! For some reason, I thought it was a new show... *facepalm*
I've only entertained the idea of watching Melrose Place because I loved how messed up Sydney & Michael were in the original series (and they're returning!), but I know that they'll be shoved to the sidelines in favour of the younger crowd so it wasn't really a huge decision.
Glee is different. Think Bryan Fuller's shows.
Uh... cancellation imminent? :P I tease. *sigh* Anyways, I actually haven't heard much about the characters themselves, just about how-- like you said, 'different' it is. If it does well, I'll probably give it a shot. I can't handle getting into another show only to see it cancelled, I really can't. :(
Hee, I just hope The Vampire Diaries is watchable-- there's no accounting for taste. XD I kinda love the whole OT3/love triangle they seem to running with in the ( ... )

True, lol. The other BF shows were canceled, but I think this one will do ok. It's got a large fanbase already. I actually watched them film the 'last' episode, the 13th, and I wrote a blog entry about it.
I just heard in a podcast yesterday that Vampire Diaries isn't great, but it's passable fun. So, we'll see.
With Dollhouse now it'll be the lead up to the apocalypticness. But yeah, no actual apocalypse in sight. Which makes me think of TSCC, this new season could have been so great. RIP.
Yeah, I heard about the production thing of V. They claim it's a tune up and nothing important. But I say no matter how you downplay it, a stop doesn't bode well: Reply
Yeah, I know. :( I read Mo Ryan's review of the pilot yesterday & she mentioned [the spoilery part] and I was so relieved that I hadn't gotten invested into the show yet. *sigh* One less thing I'll have to get around to watching. :P
Wow, it's really awesome that you got to attend a filming. I'll just be over here, seething with jealousy. j/k XD
Joss is such a teaser! He promises apocalypses and then he takes them away. (Although, BtVS would have ended a lot earlier so-- never mind my whining.)
Ah, thanks for the link! I really hope this works out well for V in the end. It's got such a great cast (Morena, Elizabeth, Scott), I really hope it does well.
