I think I should mention that I minimally edited these reactions before posting, so please forgive the premature speculation & general fannish stupidity. I just think it would be disingenuous to edit out all the embarrassing (and embarrassingly wrong) parts. :P

Minako grew on me as the series went along. She's still my least favourite of the five, but I don't dislike her.

I loved that Mako-chan punched Tuxedo Kamen :D And I love her awkwardness with Motoki. She's just so cool.

I spent the whole of the Dark Mercury Arc willing it to be over soon too. But I like the fact that the senshi grew apart and then got back together, I think it was an interesting development.

I don't really like Sailor Luna much. Then again, I never liked Chibi Usa either. The inner senshi can be childish enough without having to get real kids involved, haha. Although Hikari is adorable. I love that bit when Hina gives them lollipops and Usagi is about to eat hers but Hikari gives hers away to that little kid, awww. And her face when she says "I won't let her win" or whatever it is she says. Adorable! That's my favourite episode, I think. I love the whole muffler thing, both with Usagi/Mamoru and Makoto/Motoki.

Did you notice that Motoki's car looks kind of like a turtle? How cute is that? XD

As uncomfortable as the Dark Mercury arc was, I agree with you -- the development was great for the story. Ami got her wish in the end.

I'm having a lot of trouble taking Luna seriously now that she has a human form. I'm farther along now, and she's trying to warn Usagi about repeating the past & all I can picture is her as a little kid being so silly. :/

I loved Hikari! I'm so glad everything worked out for her in the end. <3

I hadn't noticed Motoki's car! I'll have to look for that when I rewatch. I did notice how he kept Makoto's muffler on for so long! That was so cute (and it was so sad when she turned him down & he took it off :/).
