My personal preference would be multiple companions, actually; a return to the days of pre-NuWho. A guy & a girl, or more than one of each.

Two guys, and one of them is Jack Harkness? I would not say no. I think the days of overgay may be gone without RTD, but listening to the audio commentary that Stephen Moffat gives, perhaps not.

As for the Doctor Who casting spoiler, can she act? Because yeah I saw a little bit of that other show she was on and I'm a little worried.

Well, I think she can. I really like her.

Are you talking about Bionic Woman? Because, yeah, I can see your point on that one. As much as I enjoyed the show, it wasn't the best thing ever. But Michelle has done some fantastic British genre shows that were well-received (Jekyll, Merlin) &, while Billie Piper was famous as a pop singer before Doctor Who, Michelle spent five years on one of England's most popular television shows, EastEnders.
