The CW has released a very short (and kinda lame) promo for the new season of Reaper, but I'm just happy they're promoting it at all. :/ I think the 13 episodes ordered are probably all we're going to get.

Couldn't be any more lame than the one they put out for SPN. That was just ... dumb.

I don't know... beatboxing has been out of date since the mid-80s, I think. :P

Woah casting flashback on CW. And I'm not amused by any of the news on FOX's shows.

I'm still trying to imagine Shiri as a mother figure; I guess I still picture her as the same person from her wee Roswell days.

The Fringe news is the only thing that keeps me from burning that guy in effigy. The Dollhouse stuff... actions will definitely speak louder than words. If they believe in it as much as they say they do, they won't prematurely cancel it like they did Firefly.

*eyes Reaper promo* Yeah, I doubt that this will pull in any new viewers. :(

If Virtuality airs, it's going to be dumbed down for the general audience. FUCKFUCKFUCK. (And I have a feeling the married gay couple will also be 'retooled'.)

GAH! I was looking forward to that show. :/

Heck, that Reaper promo doesn't even make me want to watch it & I've been waiting for the new season for months! :/

I wonder if Ron is regretting the decision to sell Virtuality to FOX. I think he would have had more creative control (and less backseat editing) if he had gone with SCI FI or at least a network that doesn't actively undercut its genre shows.

Yeah, me too. :(

Maybe Ron had no other options for the show? Can't really believe that but well, you never know.

You know, I never really watched CSI 'til this season. And I only tuned in because I love Lauren Lee Smith. But now I realize that I enjoy the show, I may have to go back and watch them all on DVD. So the new casting has won at least one person over. :)

I'm bummed about Fox. Especially when they also say they want to focus on live action comedies. I can't help but think Dollhouse is where they want it to be because it (and SCC) can die a slow death there. Sigh.

Oh, it's not the new casting I have a problem with on CSI! I can't comment on Smith's casting, but I think that Laurence Fishburne was an awesome casting choice. It's just -- I've watched CSI since the very beginning & it's very much 'the Grissom & Sara Show' to me. I like Greg & Nick but I cannot stand Catherine so I don't feel like there's much for me to enjoy in the show anymore. The crimes may be interesting, but if I'm not invested in the ones doing the investigating -- there are other shows I can enjoy more. :/

I would definitely recommend going back & watching the show. The first season is a bit rough, but the show really picks up -- and they have the best guest stars this side of Law & Order.

FOX is becoming the network that caters to the lowest common denominator & I wish they would just admit it and let showrunners take their great shows (like TSCC & Dollhouse) to networks that are invested in their success. You're right, I think they're embracing the Friday Night Deathslot -- if only to take some of the blame off ( ... )
