You'd be surprised; most of the online reaction I've seen so far has been fairly positive about TR2N/Tron 2.0. (I just wish they would settle on one name/abbreviation. :P)

It cracked me up when I was reading the article about the Narnia films. They're disappointed because Prince Caspian only made $419 million?! I'm sure plenty of filmmakers would be more than happy to make only that much. And, heh, you're right about the crazy church people. They must have been scared off by Ben Barnes' attractiveness. :P Plus they couldn't beat the average person over the head with the Christ metaphors as much with PC like they could the first.

They're going to have to delay the New Moon release. Seriously. They've only just settled on the new director & there is talk that they are working on recasting one of the major characters (Jacob). Rushing this movie will only make it worse than expected & piss everyone off, including the loyalists.

I'm sad about the Dollhouse review. :(

The only real scifi shows I'm looking forward to that are new are the ones that will be on SciFi. Tis sad.

I'm planning on watching Dollhouse until the bitter end, but ... this is shaping up to be Firefly all over again. D:

I totally agree about the sci-fi losing it's way, sort of. I don't watch anything on there anymore and for the longest time, it was my favorite station. :/ I want more original programming from then--and not stupid reality shows. (I'm biased in that I hate all reality shows.)

I've been watching SCI FI off & on today because they're having a The Twilight Zone marathon because of the holiday &, like you, it's the first time I've actually watched anything on there in some time.

I like some reality programming, but I think SCI FI has been overreaching recently. In the past two years, they've:

killed The Dresden Files, Painkiller Jane & Flash Gordon,
frakked around with the BSG scheduling,
let the Caprica hype die down before finally picking it up,
cancelled Stargate Atlantis,
barely promoted Eureka,
talked about the Farscape webisodes without actually delivering them,
picked up Ghost Whisperer reruns for 2009,
& add to that the fact that this is the final BSG season & ... it's a giant mess. D: I guess I'm just happy they picked up Sanctuary for another season; its budget would probably do them one or two more crappy reality shows.

You know, that Colin Firth scene isn't my favorite, surprisingly. I like the one where he touches Lizzie's hand to help her into the carriage. That's what it's all about :)

Aww, you're a romantic. :D

... I'm just shallow. XD (I have such a thing for seeing Colin Firth all wet. Watching him & Hugh Grant wrestle in the fountain during Bridget Jones... ♥_♥)

TRON SEQUEL? THEY'RE ACTUALLY GOING THROUGH WITH THAT? OH, NOT ON, DISNEY. I assume it's Disney behind it, yes? God, not one of my favoritest movies from childhood, with a lame CGI-d out the ass sequel.

Yeah, Disney is behind it. A couple of Lost writers are working on the script. I don't know if you've seen the Comic-Con footage yet: the quality is pretty bad because it's a cam but that's the only thing available at the moment.
