CBS is giving away free subscriptions to their TV magazine, CBS Watch!, to the first 50k people who sign up. I already have a free subscription to this magazine & I think it's definitely worth your time to sign up if you like CBS shows. If I'm remembering correctly (which isn't guaranteed), they do tend to have at least a few articles per issue relating to their soaps so I think your mum will be pleased. :)

Actually, I think all the airline perks with e-Rewards are for bonus miles so I'm not sure if that'll be helpful (unless you can wrangle a free ticket with bonus miles; it's been years since I flew anywhere, so I'm clueless to the workings of modern airlines).

I feel like I should be more ashamed than I am that I selected Big Brother as my favorite CBS show.

Heh, I think not! Personally, I'd be more ashamed to admit being a fan of one of the useless sitcoms they're airing right now. At least Big Brother has some cultural value. XD

I chose CSI even though I quit watching it two seasons ago, so at least you enjoy your favourite show. I just enjoy the memories of what mine used to be.
