Just stopped by the Taco Bell in the Union and the very-overworked guy -- the only guy there -- said that the entire staff'd been fired today and he was treading water until his manager found someone to help him

And here I was, about to say how much I liked that song...

But speaking from somebody in the restaurant business - though an actual sit-down one, in my case - feel bad for the guys who got fired. Sure the lone guy has a major hate-on right now, but because he's the only guy left he can probably make [and get] some demands re: his pay rate.

The guys that got shit-canned however... Yeah, this is a bad time of year to be unemployed. At least in Banff. Granted, there's no real good time to be unemployed, but nobody's really hiring right now, nor will they be for another couple months.
