I tried. I really did!

I went out to look for ingredients for the homemade shampoo and conditioner. That meant a trip to Walmart, which was ok(ish) since I needed skirt hangars too.

Bulk barn sells soap, and you can put it in paper bags. And I think they sell a lot of the other ingredients too.
There also used to be a store in the glebe that sold stuff like that in recycled bottles...but apparently they're closed...gnarf. I found this website when I was looking for their name though http://greenottawa.ca/directory/

I must go back to Bulk Barn; it used to be great for many bulk items, but now it seems to cater to the snacking and cake-baking crowd, at least around here. I didn't remember that they had unpackaged bars of soap. Thanks for the link; there are a few cool things to check out.
