Lol! This place is a good de-stressor. It's my safe space to vent, but pure venting all the time is dull, so I try to find ways to be entertaining. When I do that, I start to see the humour myself. My anxiety about Geoff, and the fact that I felt guilty about the snow shoveling when it turned out he was not having the sports injury of a man cold, was mitigated by thinking about how I have turned into my parents (and their parents). We all walked 10 miles to school, uphill, in a snowstorm, both ways, all year round. Geoff did the equivalent yesterday, and it will make him a better parent - plus he'll get to dine out for years on stories of his awful childhood and harsh parents, just like I did.
