Yesterday, swimming was all about butterfly. I got my second kick lined up with my push, stopped putting extra bits into my keyhole, and really had the pelvic thrust working. Between that and serving at feast, I have definitely fought off old lady arms for a few more days ( Read more... )

You should do more bardic. Everyone should. Especially stories. The choir is wonderful, but I have been trying for years to expand our collective definition of bardic arts beyond singing period songs.

We should have a canton bardic circle at some point!

And bonus points for working RHPS into your Hare recap. (Now I'm scheming of some bardic cross-over.) :)

Glenda is a girl I went to high school with in Germany. She now lives in London and is getting interested in the SCA. We reconnected on Facebook through high school connections, and it turns out one of her very best friends, who went to the same high school, is active in my canton and owns horses. She came up to visit her friend, timing it to be at Hare. Once again, Ottawa is a small town.
