Great post! I'm sure sooner or later someone will try to spring this one on mee so it's nice to be prepared for it.

Q: Can you see where a logic error is made?

Yor answer is correct but I will say it would be remarkable if the same process applied to the first verse of the OT and the first verse of the Gospel of John (which are 2 most important verses in the Bible in terms of how much mystical attention has been paid to them) got these results. However, I have two answers to yor question that I would like to add:

1st - To conclude that these results prove that Jesus Christ is the Lord and Savior of the world or that this somehow disproves the theory of evolution (both of which are implied but not stated explicitly in the first link) is a non-sequitr.

2nd (and more importantly) - I duplicated the process to yield π from the opening line of Genesis and got different results! (I'm not familair enough with isopsephy or the New Testament enough to pull the numbers off the top of my headI don't understand the difference between the " ( ... )
