climbing trees is something everyone ought to do these days. i forget what its like until i've lost all concept of innocent fun, and then i look way way up in the sky and see the very tippy tops of those unreachable trees...then i remember being a kid in the freezing cold winters, but so determined to climb to the very top of the pine tree at the bottom of the hill outside the schoolyard. children inhabit us the way we inhabit our skins. even if we don't like them, maybe, maybe, its just because we don't like ourselves. siblings are fabulous reminders of that.
