Woah, fantastic. Very creative idea for a story. I liked that you didn't come out and say what her "power" was, letting the reader realize it slowly. The slightly disjointed narrative really worked well here.

I really enjoyed this read. Heroes? Check. Awesomely bad ass lead? Check.

Alice's back is interesting. The fact that she got into abusive relationships, but let karma (and you know,her poison ooze) do away with them. It's a way of fighting back passively, if that makes sense.

The dialogue was snappy without seeming contrived; it flowed very well.

I hope to see more of this story from you. Paris seems like an awesome guy!
