Thanks and yes. Are you still at San Jose in the music program? If you ever come down this way you should stay at our pad. We actually have room or guests.

I hope life on land is still treating you well.

I have fond memories of the fantastic, interesting teachers I had, so I definitely think teaching is only "giving up on being an astronaut" if you want it to be. And I had a dream last night that you and I worked at Baskin Robbins. It was way more mundane than I think teaching is going to be for you. Though you did have this really awesome song when people placed phone orders on their birthday.

We should totally hang out if you're in Northridge for evening classes. -nodnod!-

Teaching does for sure kick food service ass. As I said, teaching is my favorite aspect of my job now and food service is the least. I'm sure I'd make a mean sundae though.

And I really feel good about being a teacher, there's just this small twinge that says it's not as kick ass and cool as being a sailor or a drummer.

Hanging out would be awesome. I should get my class schedule soon.

Yay grad school! I'd love to see you more than just randomly at Ani concerts. I start classes last week of January. You'll have to come by my house soon - it's not that far away from campus.
