So sleepy right now I could fall asleep on the computer. It's been a very busy week and it's only Wednesday. The heat has been taking it out of me. Out of everyone really.

I wish Sydney University would post the course timetable so I can at least see what time subjects are on this year, even if I can't enrol for another month.

I got so excited today ( Read more... )

It's always nice when companies actually acknowledge the application, I think!

What color are you painting your room?

I know! Why don't they ever acknowledge anymore? Even just to send a generic copy paste email. It's just polite. But the world isn't polite anymore.

I am painting my room an off-white creamy colour. I change my decor constantly and that way I don't have to worry about it clashing with the walls. I have black furniture and red seems to be the highlight colour du jour.

I'm constantly amazed at how rude people can be. Even just over small things, thoughtlessness is the new black or something.

That's totally what I figured I'd do if I redid my room, a neutral color makes it so much easier to change other things around. And I love red as a highlight color, omg. lol

I know! Like how people treat sales assistants as non-human nowadays. I hate it when they talk on their mobiles when I'm serving them. Or they don't even look at me.

It's in little things. I have a bedspread with a red tree on it, a red throw rug, a red tealight holder, red university folders. The red bus and red telephone booth in the print I bought in London.

It's lovely when companies send you acknowledgements; I don't know why it's so hard for some not to do so. :|

Good luck!!! :D The title "editorial assistant" alone makes it sounds awesome!
