Coffee with Paul went well yesterday. I was neurotic beforehand but chatting was easy. We talked about books and travelling and things. The only problem is that at times I felt like I was on a date with my brother-in-law. I like him, he's nice, but I just don't really want to date him. I agree with the first commenter, even though obviously, it's no easy/simple thing to just say that to someone. You could always just play it by ear for a few days and see how things go before you do that, though. (and I meant to comment to your other post, it's awful to get all nervy about that stuff, I do the same thing. So not fun, but I'm glad that at least it was comfortable and stuff just to chat with him).

The heat there is one of the reasons I could never live in Australia. I have such low tolerance for the heat, gah.

Eep, unfortunately, I can't say much about protocol with boys, but, oh man, I can commiserate with blistering heat that feels like oven heat. It's so ... unpleasant. T___T
