You're back -- I'm enjoying this story.

Xander was always my favorite on Buffy.

I like your AU and appreciate the work you've put in to pulling these two universes together.

Thanks for sharing (although I hope they don't ditch Xander.) (er, don't know the codes, but - puppy dog eyes!)

Hey, thanks for reading! I'm glad you're enjoying the story. I was worried everyone would have lost interest after such a lengthy hiatus between posts.

I'm glad you think I write ass!John very well. I was really nervous about this chapter because I worried people would throw tomatoes at me for the way I wrote John, which I really couldn't see any other way around it. Cause John...kind of IS an ass. He loves his kids, can't fault him there...but the guy can be a major ass.

Can I kill fictional characters? Is that possible?

Because I very much feel like killing John right now... Gosh... The Hellmouth is ten times more dangerous than the yellowed-eyed demon. At least in my humble opinion. I mean, seriously, Xander is safer with Dean and Sam. Some of these real family fictions have made me hate the way the scooby gang treats Xander sometimes...

Argh... Anyway... The story is awesome and to see this on my screen on Mother's Day was all sorts of awesome. (I'm not a mom, but I miss mine terribly - we live apart because of my college - and this was a nice pick-me up, even with this particularly infuriating ending.

You can totally kill fictional characters. I'm going to...

Ha ha! Just kidding. No character deaths, at least not in this installment. Yeah, you really want to just slap John upside the head most days. In fact, I'm pretty sure there's a missing scene in my head for this fic where Missouri does exactly that.

And the Hellmouth being way more dangerous? That's not going to go unnoticed by Dean. Expect quite a bit of fallout in the last chapter.

Some of these real family fictions have made me hate the way the scooby gang treats Xander sometimes... Yeah, I really wanted Xander to still be close to Buffy and Willow. I didn't want Xander seeking out family just because his friends had pushed him away. I find this more realistic. *shrug*

Glad you're still reading! :)

:D Yay! I'm so glad that you're still enjoying the fic. And I think John is totally believable as Xander's dad, too (though I guess that's obvious seeing as I'm writing the fic). They even LOOK so much alike. I think the image kaylashay81 made just demonstrates that perfectly.

I hope the last chapter continues to live up to your expectations! :)

yeah, i totally agree about the pic. i was actually a little freaked out by how related they look, haha.

also, just wanted to say, i caught a glimpse of your post-finale update. and i was shocked by how much your post was like the post i intended to make on my own lj but was too worked up to post, haha. so, i feel your pain, really.

Yeah, I'm still reeling from that finale. Seeing Dean get shredded like that... I don't know how Kripke is going to bring us back from that. I don't know what kind of rabbit he can pull out of a hat to believably bring Dean back from the dead, but he damn well better find a way.

Oh, that's awesome :) I love it! John trying to protect Xander and instead he's sending him back to the Hellmouth. Like it's less dangerous there. *snerk*

And Dean, following order, even though he knows it's not right. And Chester! *eee* Chester is so cute :)

Yeah, safer on the Hellmouth? Oh the irony of that theory. And, of course, Dean's still at that stage in the series where John says "jump" and Dean says "how high?"

Chester! I'm glad you think he's cute, the little rat. He wasn't even supposed to live through the story. But the little beast grew on me. Now he's staying put.
