Further to yesterday's Anne moment, I'm reminded that, years ago, one of my uncles called me a "vuurtoren" = a lighthouse. He explained it was a standard thing in the Netherlands. Sirens seem like soprano types to me, but I'm not sure that belief is justified.

I can't recall seeing that specified anywhere. I didn't think you'd sound like a nautophone, although that would prevent more shipwrecks than a siren.
