It's almost impossible to go running in the UK without raising money for charity, it's like a law of nature or something. One of my favourite comedians has outdone himself however, in raising money for Sport Relief. I've been following the tweets, and looked up his locations on maps, and have cringed at the pictures of his toes. And I have given him money, both from me and on behalf of friends in Sweden who are fans of him. With me apying for them, they get the benefit of the tax rebate.

An amazing achievement. I expect a documentary will be produced, and am looking forward to seeing it.

He did a really good job, and demonstrated that actually, this kind of achievement doesn't require superhuman levels of fitness, just persistence and some basic fitness.

One of the video diaries shows Eddie being accompanied by an ultrarunner who said the received wisdom was that it was 30% physical and 70% mental, and that's why people struggle.
