It wasn't the best season for Fuji viewing but we were very lucky. Apparently, that day was the first time the mountain had been properly visible for a while.
I have photos of Fujiyama. If I patch them all together, there's something like 80% of the mountain in them.
(Damned volcano insisting on doing the dance of the 7 veils. Even when it was filling most of the sky in one direction, we didn't see more than shadows behind clouds.)
You were great to travel with and made it much more fun than if I went on my own. I really appreciated your stories and your sense of humour, the fact you can actually make sense of japanese maps didn't hurt either! haha
The eggs were good, I mean, it was an experience wasn't it? I am really glad you made me walk all the way up there. I think I did throw a bit of a tanty but I blame it on the accumulative effect of 4 previous days of non-stop walking.
It was a perfect day in every sense. This little trip was definitely my highlight of Japan so thanks for the memories.

And what's this about being able to make sense of maps? You're the one who can read Chinese characters! :-)
So, are you starting your own travel blog now?
