Downstairs' door was fixed yesterday as it had become distinctly worse for the wear due to repeated police attention. The most recent damage was inflicted a few months ago, after which the inhabitant presumably found other accommodation because his music stopped shaking up my walls

I have to say, the police activity in your area is second only to that in ours.

And we have the police station 3 doors down.

I don't think we're in the middle of a crime hotspot, tbh. There's just a lot more people in our area and the types of crime that are committed get more attention.
