Can I please hate my disorders??

We were visiting my sister and her family (met my brother and my parents too) last weekend. I woke up in a very irritated mood on Saturday and with a horrible headache. Then the others decided to make a few hour trip to Naantali, which is a little under hour's drive from Salo, where we were. At that point I tried to say it wasn't a good idea for me ( Read more... )

Not easy when people don't realise you're not feeling well.
I hope they will try to understand and listen to you next time.
*hugs*

Oh, I bet they will. I'll just remind them of the almost-meltdown-at-IKEA, and how embarrassing that would've been :D *muahahahahahaa*

I can picture it in my head: Me, sitting on the floor, crying (or possibly screaming), my husband and sister trying to calm me down AND... my daughter moving away quickly, so no-one would even suspect she's related to me :D

((hugs)) I'm sorry you had to go through that! I hope that the rest of your trip (if you are still on the vacation I noticed in some of your other posts) goes well!

Nope, home again :) Thankfully so... Nice to add a new friend, by the way :) And thank you for commenting. We all have our own troubles (I saw you've had some HUGE ones, I'm so sorry...), but sometimes knowing that there are people that think of you, even though you haven't met them, can actually help.

Well I'm glad you are home, and hope that being home has helped calm everything?
It's nice to meet you!
I have had some huge ones, but I keep plodding on.... and like I said in my most recent post, life is never boring. Of course, some days boring would be VERY nice. :( (Especially when I am trying out different mood stabilizers, we still haven't found one I can take for my depression side of things that doesn't make me really ill!)
It does help to know people think of me.... and just because I haven't met most of my friends in person, doesn't mean I haven't met them. I do know what you mean though. :)

It took me and my doctors about seven years to find the medication coctail that works for me. And yeah, even with that, life can be sucky sometimes, and it's hard for others to understand. BUT... I have to say, my family and friends have been there for me when needed, so I don't take it badly if they sometimes just don't get it :) I've only had one miscarriage, and I have two healthy kids, so I can't even begin to understand how you must feel about that issue... but you MUST be strong to have survived it.

Oh hon, sorry the visit didn't go so well. Best decision ever to have the meds with you. YAY for the curtains, that's indeed a bargain.

Well, it went MOSTLY well :) And I'm thrilled with the fabric. Now all I need to do, is to sew the curtains... We'll see how long that'll take :D
