I couldn't have wished for a better way to end the Big Bang season than a collaboration with my girl, hybridshade ♥ I was trying to do more artwork last minute for this fabulous story because she so deserves it, but the hubby got in the way (you try drawing naked men in front of your SO :P). I let the classic Choose Your Own Adventure books inspire my artwork

Thanks, bb :D I loved those books as a kid and ever since they started popping up in fandom, I've wanted the chance to draw for one!

Thank you! I hope you get the chance to read a CYOA, whether fanfic or the real deal. They're fun; although, if you're like me, you go mad trying to keep track of which paths you've already chosen :P I used to have a system to make sure I found every one. LOL.

These are so very pretty, and the book cover is fab! And what intriguing teasers for the story too (all those endings...and those are only a selection, right?). That must have made it quite a challenge choosing what to illustrate!

I only discovered I was in over my head when I asked hybridshade how many endings there were -- expecting an answer of 6 to 7 -- and she said 12 to 13. That girl is mad brilliant :P I had to keep the ending drawings simpler than I planned in order to make more. But I'm glad they still work as a tease!

Well first off, you did a tremendous job! The book cover is delightful! (I love fanart that mimics 'mainstream' art; it just tickles me.) But even better, the art makes me REALLY want to read the fic. A choose-your-own-adventure style story isn't my favorite groove (though I commend hybridshade for rocking it!), but the art, with banged up Jared, is woeing me over. :D Congrats, both of you!

Well, shucks, thank you :) I do enjoy trying to mimic art styles and to learn from them. Here, I could use more practice with cross hatching, especially in digital form.

I have a love-hate relationship with CYOA. As much as I loved all the different endings, trying to keep track of all the paths drove me nuts! I didn't want to leave one page unturned.
