Oh my god, this is fucking amazing. A-MAZ-ING. I have such a thing about swords, and that sword is just grogeous. I also love the story of the Three Musketeers - I'm so into loyalty and bravery and honour...as if that wasn't already obvious ;-) - so combining this and SPN = perfection. And even though I particularly love swords, I love guns too - thank you, dean Winchester, lol - and the gun is beautifully drawn too. Great shading too, hon...also love that blue...

Wonderful art, hon...thanks for sharing. :-)

I love swords, but painting them is a pain in the butt when you want exquisite detail and a nice shine! :P Hero stories are the best - so inspirational and motivational. Thanks for the sweet words, bb!

I've been looking forward to this one since I first saw your prompt pic! Love the in progress shots too - I still haven't worked out how to digital paint without keeping the lines...I want to give it a go. I really like your original line drawing too though, it's lovely.

I'm still learning how to get clean edges when I paint so I can remove the lines. Often, I just end up recoloring the lines to match the painting, if that makes sense. Or I'll force myself to flatten the layers (including the outline), so I have to paint neatly!

This is gorgeous! I'm a big sucker for the nineties 3 Musketeers movie and your Jared would definitely fit right in!

The clothes look amazing, I love his expression and the hat is so dashing! Wonderful job!

A long overdue thank you! I'm a sucker for everything Musketeers...except the actual book. Among Dumas' writings, I ended up loving The Count of Monte Cristo :)

Wow, bb, this is one of your best works yet! The motion and flow in the line drawing is gorgeous enough, but the finished painting . . . ! The soft, satiny shine of the fabric, the hard metallic glint of the weaponry and the sheer amount of detail on the gun and sword pommel, the lighting and shadow . . . this is MAGNIFICENT, lady! *wild applause*

Thank you, bb! I'm still struggling with skin tones and facial structure, but this was a step in the right direction. And I showed myself I could paint other things like fancy swords and shiny tabards, oh my! :)

Aw, you are too kind; thank you! :) Magic must have been involved, because I don't remember how I got some parts to look like they do. Like, yes, those gloves! I got KNUCKLES to show *faints with joy*
