After several anguished minutes trying to figure out what to do and coming up with nothing, Ennis gave up the fight and lay back down. OMG -- you had me a little scared. I mean, if you decided to bust them up, I would have understood because your writing is so wonderful and it would have made sense. Still would have been hard to think of Jack and Ennis both living and being apart. Forever.

Thank you for letting me in on this journey with Ennis and Jack. And I so love it when Jack gets feisty and gets in Ennis's face and tells him like it is! (You write feisty so well!)

This was absolutely beautiful! I love how you ended it! They still have so much to work out and so many unanswered questions, but they love each other and that is enough. God, it brought tears to my eyes! Just wonderful!

I so glad you enjoyed it. It was a nice break for me too, to write something that - for me at least, and hopefully for many others - was true Jack and Ennis. I love all of my stories and my different versions of J & E, but I love the original guys too! Thanks for the comment. S!
