The demon is definitely fabulous in the "Fabulous, dahling!" sense... *laughs*

I love your travel posts - and I hope this doesn't sound too creepy, but I have to tell you that I now have a total fantasy about an alternate world where I could travel to Italy along with you and get those historical lectures about famous assassinations, etc., in the different monuments we visited! Because I would absolutely love it. :)

Hah, well I was better at it when I was actually in the midst of studying the stuff daily, but unsurprisingly the exciting parts about assassinations and artists feuding with popes has stuck with me.

It all looks wonderful! And while I'm sure it's just the angle, those tassels look big enough to be Daleks disguised as festive window treatments :). (REDECORATE!!!) And you look lovely on the Ponte Vecchio; I'm sure I look closer to forty than you do and I am not yet actually forty.

Those particular tassels were GIANT. I wouldn't be surprised if they were Daleks in disguise! They had them in sizes all the way down to tiny little ones.It was difficult to resist flinging ourselves into a pile of them and never surfacing.

Thank you for the nice words :)
