Adventures in funky hair, take two

The first experiment in hair color, a "peekaboo" burgundy color that wound up being almost invisible (too small a portion of hair colored, although the color itself was great) has been in the rear view mirror a while, and I decided I was going to take another stab at putting a funky color in. I agree with the previous commenter. If you're not happy they should fix it -- and it will be part of the learning experience for that particular student. And grey purple? That's just ... No.

My kidlet just had several streaks of midnight and peacock blue put in her hair. I paid a seasoned colourist in my hairdresser's salon to do it, and it looks both funky and professional, peaking out under darkened hair in some places, in-you-face one side. I consider it an investment in confidence and self-esteem as she heads back to school, and don;t begrudge the money. (Being told that her buddies consider me "a cool mom" doesn't hurt... ;-)
