Hee! You have unwittingly stepped into a big topic here at work at the moment. Our director is in Venice for the Biennale, and we're wondering if he's going to return with a "souvenir" - to which the reply has been, "It'll be something terribly postmodern, no doubt."

Love it! And I hope you are hopped up on Nutella crepes (OMG, do they sound good) and in a better frame of mind. Buying a house (in Nebraska!!) is exciting and scary, I think your feelings are natural. Probably once you know the market better, you'll start feeling calmer.

Heh, maybe I should bring a plate of Nutella crepes to the mortgage guy, and every time I feel stressed I'll just eat a crepe. By the time we have a house, I'll have put on another 100 pounds.

But when there are crepes, the Nutella gets all warm and oozy and you can put bananas in as well...
