As strange as it sounds, I think I have almost grown fond of this place. I suppose it is the relative freedom of doing as I please without having to worry over anyone's expectations. I'm not making the mistake of thinking that this place is better than home, but I shall miss this lack of scrutiny.

entry, musing

That's just until someone irritating turns up from your world to check up on you, don't you think?

And they haven't bothered you? I'm envious! What's the secret to that?

On the contrary. One bothers me rather often. It was troubling at first the way he seemed intent on dismantling my carefully ordered world. But I have grown accustomed to, and even quite fond of, his ways.

I must admit, it does have its perks - you get to meet the most interesting people here.

Of course, you know you'll always have a refuge with me once we go home. I'm sure you'll find that my home has much better amenities than this place.

Truly tempting, although I doubt I could hide from my responsibilities for long.

Nor would you want to, and that's how it should be. But for a brief respite...

You know very well that I want more than to be with you for just a brief respite...
