Happy Tofurkey Day

Nov 26, 2011 11:34

A little late, but happy Tofurkey Day to all.

Been riding about every other day or so, but I really do not like riding in the rain. or the fog. Signed up for several classes for spring semester, A&P, Microbiology, and Physical Anthropology (online.) I'll have to drop one of the first two.

Hope y'all are doing well. Take care of y'selves.

Happy late turkey day to you. Why drop 1?

Hi! Happy early birthday!! :)))

It's just that I work full time, and the classes are all 8am-1pm mw or tth, with the labs and all, so if I took both of the big ones, I'd never be home or sleep, etc. I mostly sign up for them because I have an early sign up date, and then my friend at work tries to sign up for the same classes. If she gets in to either one, then I'll keep it, otherwise I just flip a coin. I can barely handle 2 days a week 8-1pm, since I work 3pm-11:30pm and I live almost 2 hours from sacramento. I get home after 1am and would have to leave at about 5:30am, unless I stay in sac all week, and that's a little iffy too. The one person who said I could stay at her house whenever I want never seems too happy when I actually do.

Ah life. If it weren't for the complaints, I'd have nothing to complain about, and what fun would that be?

Really, though, Happy Happy Birthday!!! :))))
Hope you have a wonderful time and do something fun!
*hugs*

Gotcha on the class thing. I know how that goes and sadly I should have been able to figure that out as I've read many of your posts and commuting back and forth. Duh, me, duh!

Thanks for the birthday wish. :) I am going to go to the barn and hang out while some other people team sort (I've been slacking due to other life concerns and my horses are out of shape and R's shoulder is hurt so...) until they give up or I'm too cold and then a bunch of us are going to go to On the Border for dinner. :)

Life and complaints...go hand in hand, eh? :) *Hugs*

Team sort? Is that like cutting? I saw a show about horses and they had some champion cutters and their riders, and it was just amazing to see the horses think and move so rapidly. I never really knew they were that agile. Usually, you just see them going really fast in an oval.

Hey miss Em. So, so happy to hear from you. *glomp*
I'm hanging in there. Better days and worse days and all that. Riding a motorcycle kind of helps keep me centered. You can't really think of anything else while you're riding, so it's like meditation, in a way.

Hope you're doing great and had a great Christmas and have a wonderful New Year!
