A Monsterous Awakening!

Had it not been for that voice slaked with promised bloodlust rousing him from his horizontal position, Alucard thought he would have been stuck staring at the opium-plumed heavens forever. The monster chuckled in an insidious baritone as his lips peeled back to reveal gleaming razor incisors.

What a glorious day this was! The adrenaline was ( Read more... )

For once in a long time, he had actually hurt where his opponent had struck him. Though he was stunned and trying to regain his stance, Anderson seemed to hear tiny voices... shaking his head and deciding best to ignore them, he focused upon what was just before him ( ... )

The vampire had waited patiently where he stood, and sense only the wind brush his cheek from the backdraft of the priest’s charge. He stared down the weapon with some kind of insane glee. Was this a joke? Was Anderson beginning to play with him as childishly as he was?

Fixed between Anderson’s eyes, he let the cold metal of his Jackal brush his flesh almost lovingly.

“What game are you flirting with me now, Judas priest?” He laughed aloud with a grin so wide it looked as if it would tear the seams of his mouth.

“I always thought you’d make a good breeze-bearer to fan the flames you make inside me, ahahaha!” He guffawed much to his rival’s misplacement. Yet low and behold, there it was in Anderson’s clutches.

A simple paper fan.

“There’s a gift I brought for you as well… I’ve been saving it all this time for you.” A happy glower crossed him as he stared down the barrel of his glaring prized Jackel. Finally he’d put it to the use it was meant for and leave nothing but a fine red mist between Anderson’s shoulders.

In all truth... Anderson was rather stunned when he realized what he was holding. His bayonets were not in his hands. Alucard must've planned this entire ordeal. It had to have been a trick of his all along.

He grit his teeth and prepared for a simple gunshot wound to his forehead. He had no idea that the new weapon that Alucard brought forth was something so deadly and so powerful, it had the potential to outright kill him.

Yet, he flinched just a bit when he heard the massive explosion of the bullet leaving the barrel... and blinked.

It would appear as though there was a suction cup dart now placed between his eyes. He immediately dropped his weapons, still oblivious to the fact they were fans. Surely the vampire was behind all this.

"ALUCARD!! Gonnae-no playin' an' start fightin'!" With this said, he brought back his fist and threw it forward, with all intentions of punching the vampire straight across the jaw.

What in the seven reaches of hell was this? Swift reflexes snagged Anderson’s wrist in Alucard’s grasp, letting the momentum of his blow bring them face to face, stopping inches from touching. He could feel that man’s breath reeking with Cathedral incents as he leaned in and opened his gapping jaws to gently pluck the dart from between the man’s eyes ( ... )

Anderson was shocked to see how quickly the vampire had snagged his wrist. He growled and hissed in anger as the suction cup dart was plucked from his forehead.

His eyes narrowed. What manner of devilry was this monster playing with? He didn't believe that Hellsing's trump card was that powerful. He refused to believe it!

Though his thoughts were brought to halt, when there was now a sudden pain in his wrist. Being jerked forward and into a solid punch, left the priest stunned.

He coughed up what he thought was blood and sneered. He wasn't supposed to be feeling this pain so easily. He pulled his own arm back and leapt back a few feet.

Anderson coughed and glared at his arm for a moment, before he growled back at Alucard. This vampire... seemed to be far stronger than he had thought... though everything had its weakness.
