The Sanzo Ikkou, Once Again

After shutting down the device Sanzo sat back to observe his surroundings. The colors were giving him a headache. This called for some sort of relief in the form of some tabacco. The priest reached into his sleeve for his cigarettes to find.. they weren't there.

And then there was that shot from the monkey. Glairing he stood up and reached for his paper fan, which was surprisingly still in place. He didn't say anything, just gave the boy an irritated glare. "You don't have to yell, baka," he growled, tightening the grip on his fan.

Hakkai was following at a more sedate pace... there was no need to hurry, really, they had all the time in the world now. Not that Goku was going to see it that way, of course...

And sure enough, there he went. Laughing, Hakkai just shook his head as he caught up with Goku. "He's just eager to see you, Sanzo. Really, you should be grateful to have such devoted friends."

Gojyo strolled along behind Hakkai and would never admit in a thousand years he was glad to have the monk with them. He wouldn't give the blond that much satisfaction. As Goku ran off into the trees, Gojyo didn't bother speeding up any. The monkey had Sanzo-dar. He could find chain-smoking, monk bastards anywhere, anytime, and anyplace.

"Devoted friends my ass. I'm just here to make sure he didn't get killed on the way to the teepee," the redhead drawled.

Hanging by his... tail, from the nearest tree- which happened to be that of rather delicious if strange looking watermelons- Goku grinned broadly at the familiarly sour face of the monk, gulping slightly. He knew what that hand was reaching for before he even saw the glimpse of accordian-folded paper. "Hahah, I knew you'd show up here, too!" he chimed giddily, swinging from the branch by the tail that was wrapped around the treebranch- a watermelon, of course, already in his hands. His focus was on the monk in front of him, rather than his other two friends lagging behind at their own pace.

But something was a little off. Hmm, now what was it? Then the monkey's eye was directed towards the glint of golden insectoid wings from the monk's back... Well. That was new. "Ne, Sanzo... you're a bug?" Goku asked in a completely innocent and curious tone.
