The Pleasant's story was heartbreaking but so believable!

I was really nervous about this part of the makeovers because I just don't think it's possible to start the Pleasants (or the Goths) out without addressing some weighty topics. But I'm glad it didn't come off too exaggerated.

Rather than spam your journal with comments, I thought I'd just say this here :)

I absolutely LOVE your stories of the Pleasantview pre-mades! I think the stories suit them very well and I adore the way you've made over the houses ♥

I'm glad you enjoyed them :D

I always debate how to split the posts. Pleasantview was huge thus many spammy posts on my part ;) But hopefully it made the viewing process more enjoyable not having to scroll to infinity?

I love their houses! Goth's house fits them really well, its amazing! And the exterior of Pleasant's house looks so much better than the original :D

May I ask a WCIF on Daniel's hair? I recall seeing that mesh but it has forever escaped my memory since!

:) Glad you like them both! The Pleasant house is so frustrating, there were elements I considered keeping but some concessions were made on the outside to give the inside enough space to work with.

Daniel's hair is Nouk's Don's Final Tribute. I used Simgaroop's recolor: http://simlish.dreamwidth.org/12630.html

So fantastic, both of the houses! But I especially love your take on the Goth household. It looks both eloquent with a slightly dark twist. And all the little details you put into both really make the houses looks amazing. I am constantly inspired by you. :)

The Goths were fun to play around with. I decided to rein in the darkness a bit as a result of simcerly's Star's Crossing and skellington7d's Fortune & Romance--I wanted to keep the Goths just on that edge between being kind of dark and being an eccentric family. Particularly because Strangetown is a fair bit darker due to the Beakers, Nervous and Olive. Strangetown will likely have a different tone (more like the Goths and Pleasants).

Love the story you wrote for the Goths (well, all the stories you write for your families are awesome, tho <3). I really liked the idea of Casandra proposing and then the family preparing for the wedding for years. Very fitting. The house looks amazing, and I LOVE Alex's makeover. He's looks great! (can I ask, the portraits in the Goth's living room, did you do those, or can they be DLed somewhere? they are great!)

Also I really liked Lilith's makeover. She's looks so cool! (especially in the pic with the glasses)
