Ahhhhhhhh... I REALLY REALLY want to see Adam as Chess... and I love the line "I get my kicks above the waistline, sunshine" *starts singing* One night in Bangkok and the world's your oyster...

Excuse my ignorance... but what exactly is Chess about? I've heard of it, and have heard it's great... but I don't know anything about it. Educate me please! XD

I've only seen the concert version of it so this is what I gathered:

The music is by ABBA and it's about a Chess tournament between the USSR and the US and kind of symbolizes the Cold War but then like the character's lives kind of turn into a chess game where they're manipulating each other and stuff.

Like Freddy is the current champion and is American and his second is this woman Florence and she ends up falling in love with the Russian chess player and Freddy gets all mad obviously but he's married to this Russian chick and then the Russian players second and the publicity dude start plotting to make the Russian guy lose or something?

I just like the music... LOL

I'm sure someone could explain it A LOT better than me. Anyone? Bueler?

I think I'd LOVE IT.

I love ABBA music. And I love history. Esp Cold War ish era. And I'm a musical theatre freak. That sounds fantastic.
