And now my $400 keyboard can at least pretty closely simulate most of the sounds I've heard on this video (and 400 more sounds; I haven't heard half of them; and it isn't even a real synthesizer), and I have it because I cannot afford the real acoustic thing. Hurray for progress.

I like the candy-apple red keytar.

I'm pretty sure at this point -- ironically now that theoretically I could afford such toys -- that that's fallen off the bottom of my priority queue (see most recent post!) so not this life time for me. I'm OK with that; life's just too full of even awesomer things, so what are you gonna do?

I love this video so much. My brother got me a Korg synthesiser simulator for my Nintendo DS - I didn't even know it existed until I opened the wrappign paper and got to play with it! :D
