Can I encourage you to send an email to whatever contact info that archive offers, requesting transcripts? I'm in captioning, and a LOT of places (especially universities) have big accessibility initiatives, but they prioritize their backlist by who's requesting what. So if you send a simple email saying "hey, it would be great if this had a transcript," that will often happen.

(Disclaimer: Yes, I work for a captioning company; I don't know if BC is a client of ours, though they might be. But I am also a regular reader, and a big believer in searchability and accessibility!)

Worth noting that if you're willing to pay a little, Casting Words produces quality transcripts at really cheap rates. I had them transcribe one talk that I gave and was quite happy with the result.
