Is it different when it's been longer since you've been a teenager?

Maybe? I don't know.

It's not unusual for sad people to like the blues. You might find that seeing it on the big screen is very validating for you in a positive way. Or, you know, not. Can't advise you.

Me, too. As a kid, I'd joke about "my inner 60-year-old"

I left the theater thinking, "oh god oh god I'm an adult, thank god I'm an adult."
