German Crash Course Part Two

Sep 03, 2009 21:08

This is the rest of the original part one, plus some more. I honestly need some feedback to know that you're on board and understanding or if you're having trouble.  This is four really long sections.

Here's where we get into some useful things... )

Typing in German? What're you talking about, I can't type in German. >w>; awesome_army September 4 2009, 02:09:11 UTC
Also, there is no "sh" in German spelling (that I can recall right now) everything is SCH (I only add this because, Tara, I've noticed you spelling Deutsch and Deutschland wrong ;D)

Thank you for pointing out my constant epic fail. Prussia can't spell his own brother's name, wtf.

I think I get it, the only thing I'm probably having trouble with is verbs and gender stuff. The only thing about verbs I probably don't get is the obvious stuff, like the irregular verbs and wissen--but it looks irregular, so....

But, yeah, I think I get everything else that you've explained so far! ♥

The next words should be things like..food and drinks and stuff. *only knows a few*

Tschüß~ *has to go drag herself to find food, now*

Also, when I get off my ass and draw it Prussia's gonna turn into a girl for...a little while. About a week or two. And still refuse to be completely dressed. And grow a strange fancy for England. Okay, gonna eat something now.

Haha, at first I thought is was a typo, but then I kept seeing it...

Don't worry, until last year, I always left out the c in sch and my teacher kept taking points off my writing assignments.

Yeah, irregular verbs are tricky you just gotta learn 'em cold. I love how I put write but not read in the verb list OTL I'll throw it in next time... (I had to look up many of these spellings because I could pronounce them but couldn't spell correctly) and genders are STILL the bane of my existence after 6 years.

Good to know that you're with me, I keep reading these dozens of times and though they make perfect sense to me, I fear they may be complete jumble to others -_-'

I can do food and drinks; I was going to do some common adjectives for talking about yourself and others, probably colors (which'll be super easy) and numbers even though we can use actual numerals here.

Go get food, mein Schatz.

That sounds wonderful xD Germany'll make her go buy bras or something though; that'll be fun.

orz

D: Ouch.

I learned that with Spanish. orz I still don't know all of them. *will simply have to memorize them by writing them, yay~* Acht. Either Germany's trying to encourage a Gender confused/aloof nation or just really wants us to learn the hard way.

Try not to worry, even if we don't get it we can always ask.

Those are important too. /o/

I did. I have a doughnut. *waves it* And lasagna in the oven~

She will drag him with her. XD It'll be wonderful, although now he'll be very..rubby.

hahaha

Yeah, that's probably the best way to just do it. I've never understood the whole gender thing (I get it when you're talking about people, but otherwise...)

I just went on a little adventure and found my old notes from German I and II, so now things should go a little smoother that I'm not pulling all this out of my head at random.

Lasagna? I'm jealous.

hahaha, I can't wait xD

It just came to mind to ask this. awesome_army September 18 2009, 06:13:49 UTC
Would Sealand be Seeland, Meerland, Ozeanland or what?
