Well, my system is back and (knock wood) OK.  The problem is I have to practically rebuild everything from the ground up.  Resetting passwords, rebuilding bookmarks--all totally gone!, and catching up with nearly 100 e-mails.  I guess it's a good way to clean stuff out.  If I don't remember I had it in my bookmarks, I guess I can afford to lose it

I'm so happy for you! I know how I hate being without my computer - using other people's just isn't the same. Just so you know, I have the last three chapters of The Squib ready and waiting. No hurry, but I thought you'd like to know that it's finally done!! And I think you'll be pleased with how things work out in the end. *winks*

I can't wait! Hmmmmm..... maybe I should take a few vacation days to get caught up! I wish I could but Elvira and one other co-worker are gone so it's not going to happen. Oh well--still got 9 full days to get caught up and listen to all disks of HPB before Deathly Hallows. Yeah--it could happen!

Uh--quite the reverse, actually! What a shock to be trying to read HP stuff and suddenly get an eyeful that you can't get rid of. The damn thing hijacked my system and kept redirecting it to porn sites that kept popping up faster than I could shut them down. My stomach really lurched when I tried to Control-Alt-Delete them and found a message saying that my Task Manager had been disabled by the Administrator. The Hell, you say! *I'm* the Administrator and I did no such thing! Very scary stuff!
